Mahomes, the 3 year old terrier mix, was roaming the streets on a cold snowy morning. A bus driver saw him running loose and opened his door, and Mahomes jumped right in to stay warm. Mahomes is now safe and warm, but could really use out of the shelter. This pup is a gentle soul who is pretty shy, but with some baby-talk and tasty treats, he comes around after a bit and is as sweet as pie. Mahomes is still unsure of new things, like toys and fast movement and sometimes flinches if you move to quickly, but we are hopeful that with the right family and patience, this petite pup will come out of his shell and get to be the best dog we know he is! At this time, due to his shy-ness, we are suggesting he goes home with teens, 14 and up.
