Maizie is four years old and weighs 50 pounds. She was abandoned by somebody along with another dog and was so scared that she had to be trapped. She had an injury to her tail which would not heal, and we had to amputate it. Maizie loves cuddles and attention, and she loves the water and likes to swim. She is great with other dogs and is good with cats. Because she has been through a lot she is very wary of new people. Once she knows you’re OK, she is fine. She would do best in home when she’s not left alone a lot as she is afraid of being abandoned again. Maizie knows some commands and is,good on leash and loves car rides.
