Mango, now Fargo, has been adopted by her foster home! She now is a super spoiled, and loved dog, who gets to go to work with her new family!
Mango Update February 23:
Mango's name is actually Princess as we have found out via an annonymous e-mail. We have also been told she will be two years old this summer and is a Sheepdog/Lab mix. We are hoping to find out more about her and when we do we will post more information.
She is starting to warm up to people and we have been spending lots of time with her to ensure she feels safe. Thanks to Donna, Jeff and other dedicated volunteers Princess Mango has been getting lots of attention, treats, walks and tlc.
February 20, 2005:
"Mango" just came in as a stray. At this point she is very shy, and afraid of all the coming and goings of the shelter. She has apparently been seen running free along the railroad tracks, for the last week. Her finder found her around 92 ave. and Scott Road. She looks to be about 2 or 3 years old, and has no id on her.
If you recognize this dog please contact the shelter. If this dog is yours and you can no longer keep her please at least call us and tell us more about her so we can find her an appropriate home. Even knowing her name and age will help. Being able to call her by name will put her more at ease as well.
If Mango's family does not claim her we will be helping her search for a new home once spayed and once her stay period ends February 27th.
