Hi I'm Maple! I must say, I'm the sharpest, fastest and smartest one here at the Ark! (even though my brother Corky insists that he is, he's here at the Ark too). I'm as light on my feet as a ballerina, can move like a hummingbird (well, almost like that) and turn all that into a big playday! I do have lots of energy, and want more than anything to have a family to teach me to take all of my natural talents to become the sparkling star that I know I am! I've been here at the Ark for a while now, and even though I love seeing my volunteer friends, I've become a bit shy at first when I meet someone new, but don't let that fool you - I'm the best girl you could ever hope to find! Way back when I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, and the most guesses were that I'm a Malinois Shepherd mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! **Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.
