Maple - read bio please.

Weatherford TX Maple is as sweet as they come! She is a timid and submissive girl who had a rough start to life. She takes some time to warm up to new people, but once she knows she can trust you she gets the cutest wiggle butt and happy feet! She will lay in your lap and LOVES belly rubs. Maple would do best in a quiet home as loud noises scare her, and raised voices are a no no for this girl. She does seem more comfortable with ladies, but has met several men that she has come to love as well. She is quick to forgive a woman if they accidentally scare her, but takes much longer to trust the guys again. She was also debarked at some point in her life before she came to the shelter. Maple loves to run and “zoom” around the yard at top speed with the other dogs, and she doesn’t pay any mind to our cats. Her ideal home would be a family who takes time to socialize her and really build her confidence! She is potty trained, crate trained, and loves chew toys. If left out of her crate while you leave the house, she will occasionally find something she is not supposed to chew on and loves to decorate the house for your welcome home (ex: wrapping paper or toilet paper.) She means no harm, and truly thinks she’s doing you a favor and will happily greet you at the door to show off her work. This is easily prevented by crating her when you leave, or picking up any fun items she may thing will improve the decor of your home. She’s a visionary!
