Marcellus is a shy guy who is blossoming with courage since coming to us and we can't wait for him to find his family. When he first came to us, he just melted to the ground and froze in fear whenever you approached him but in no time at all he has learned he is safe and is gaining confidence everyday showing off his wonderful and sweet personality. Marcellus, with his soft rich brown coat and eyes that hold both fear and curiosity, is a little soul on a brave journey. His paws tread lightly, as if testing the ground for safety. Marcellus dreams of finding a patient family—a place where he can learn to trust, wag his tail, continue building his newfound confidence and be showered with gentle encouragement. Marcellus approaches the world like a whispered secret. New sounds, new faces—they make his heart race a little but he is trying so hard to stay brave. He’s learning that sometimes courage blooms in quiet moments with people he trusts. We are so proud of how far he has come! When you meet Marcellus, his eyes speak volumes. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention here with us.
