Marco

This gorgeous, loving boy is wondering where all the adopters are. Marco is a very friendly and loving 5-year-old with a moderate energy level! He enjoys daily exercise and loves to be outdoors and go on adventures. Sometimes he likes to just be in the fresh air and will sit with you and relax. He is also up for a hike, swim or a long walk. Marco likes to ride in the car, especially if you are taking him somewhere new to explore! While he is excited to see other dogs or people on his walk, Marco is easily redirected and settles back into his easy pace. Marco is big lovable goofball, weighing in at a 79 pounds. He is gentle enough to not want to jump on people. He is trying very hard to learn not to show his enthusiasm for new dogs and attention, which has been hard for him. When Marco is overstimulated, he tries to mount other dogs, but he is learning that it is not socially acceptable behavior and he is doing it less and less. Marco is motivated to make his people happy and he is a very fast learner! Marco does not chew anything that isn’t his. He knows that toys are for playing and he will also settle down with a bone to happily chew while his people unwind from a long day. Marco has acclimated pretty easily to the different lifestyles of each of his foster homes, showing that he is your typical, affable and sweet Labrador. In fact, he is so appreciative of all the love shown to him, he will reward you with a gentle kiss. This boy has been through a lot but is incredibly resilient. Marco has the desire to learn and please! Anyone who will devote time to him will be paid back in spades. We feel that a medium to active outdoor energy home would be work best for Marco!
