Marge

Animal Profile: Marge is a 10-month-old, 54lb Husky that was running at large for weeks with her sister harassing a farmers calves in Satsop, Wa. They were at risk and one of our wonderful foster families stepped up to take them in and give them a chance. After completing their stray hold, no one came to claim them. Marge was spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and is now ready for adoption! Foster Update: Marge is what we'd call a starter husky. She has been friendly with every pup and person she's met. She'll play for days, and would do best in an active home and/or a home with northern breed experience. Marge has made great progress with her leash walking, but can still pull (shocking for a Husky, we know). Marge makes a great hiking buddy and would thrive as a running companion. Marge can be a talker, but she's mostly quiet in her crate but still likes to sing the song of her people on occasion. Securely fenced yard and sense of humor required. Adoption Info: Marge's adoption fee is $550 which includes her spay, Rabies, 1st DPPV, Bordetella, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.
