She loves to be near her people, following you around like a loyal puppy dog, and is definitely a lap dog who craves close companionship. Margie is crate trained, although she might need a little encouragement to get in, but once settled, she's perfectly content. She's house-trained and knows commands like "sit" and "stay." Impressively, when outside, if you tell her to go poop or pee, she listens! Margie enjoys short walks and is not reactive to other dogs, though squirrels and cats do catch her attention, so a cat-free home would be ideal. She rides wonderfully in the car and loves water, especially playing with a hose. Margie is calm and quiet in her kennel and walks nicely on a leash. She takes treats gently and is always grateful for any pet you give her. At night, Margie prefers the comfort of her bed or a cozy chair over her crate. She's not overly active and would thrive in a family looking for a chill, affectionate dog. Margie is the perfect mix of playful and relaxed, making her an excellent addition to any loving home. Please note that a meet and greet with all dogs in the home is required before Margie is adopted to ensure a smooth transition for everyone.
