My Story
Margo is a resilient and gentle young female Pit Bull who has had quite the journey. Found as a stray in Memphis, she was rescued by a kind-hearted vet tech who noticed Margo was having issues "pooping." Margo was diagnosed with a rectal prolapse, a very painful and dangerous condition.
Paws New England took ownership of Margo and ensured she received the best care from the skilled surgeons at Bluff City Veterinary Specialists. Despite a little post-op hiccup (she took her own stitches out!), Margo is doing great and is on the road to recovery. She is expected to head home on 7/16, and after a 2-3 week recovery period, she will be ready to find her forever family.
Margo is an absolute sweetheart. Her foster mom has a little girl, and Margo is incredibly gentle with her. She has no issues with strangers or other dogs, making her a well-rounded and friendly companion. Despite her tough road, Margo's spirit remains unbroken, and she's ready to share her love with a new family.
Margo is a compact and muscle-y babe who looks like she weighs less than she does!
