Momma Maricela was pulled from a shelter in April 2024, heavily pregnant and gave birth shortly after her arrival. Though her delivery wasn't easy, she got through with the help of her amazing foster mom! Maricela has been a wonderful mom to her babies and now she is almost ready for a home of her own!
Maricela is getting to spend more time away from her babies now as they grow and she is enjoying her new found freedoms! She has started venturing out into the main part of her foster home for short periods of time and looks SO happy for even a quick break from puppy duty! She is getting along well with the other dogs and kids in her foster home, but is a little shy and needs some time to and warm up before she is completely comfortable in a new environment.
Maricela is looking for a family who will give her the time she needs to feel safe and loved again, while letting her decompress from all she's been through at her own pace.
