Marie is quite shy with new introductions, but given patience and time, she will learn to trust. She's been friendly with all dogs she has come across. She loves attention and praise and is quite the shadow dog. If you're looking for a lap dog, she is the girl for you! She would do great with a family with older kids who understand that fast movements toward her can be scary, and she would be a fantastic companion for a retiree. She loves taking walks and is perfect on a leash. She does not need to be crated in the home as she is not destructive and does not have accidents. She loves benebones and will growl at them as she chews, it's adorable. She also very much enjoys retrieving balls, and rope toys. Her very favorite place is RIGHT next to her humans (must be touching). She is doing much better with car rides as they were scary at first. She has come a long way in a short period of time and will continue to thrive given time, love, and patience.
