Marina is a shy girl who came to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a mixture of Sato and Basenji which explains her unusual good looks.
Once Marina is comfortable, she is affectionate and loves to give kisses and lean in for petting. In the yard, she runs around to dispel pent up energy and then loves to play tag and fetch. Her leash walking skills are good, and as long as her human is close by, she is happy.
Marina needs a slow introduction to both cats and dogs and she did live with children. This sensitive girl will make a great companion for a family that will allow her the time to get to know them and develop at her own pace.
The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
