Mario

It's a-me, Mario! Mario is a quirky 9 year old goofball that is sure to steal your heart (instead of coins). This sweet boy sadly came to our shelter as a stray in March 2019. At his intake exam, we discovered that he was heartworm positive and would require treatment. Mario has been undergoing the "slow kill" method of treatment while learning a lot in our FIDO prison program. He hopes to be heartworm free very soon. Mario is a sweet boy who can be a little shy when meeting new people. He would prefer a calm, quiet home without small children. He gets along well with cats and can be picky about his canine friends (will require a meet and greet). Mario loves to run and play, so a fenced yard is required in order to adopt him. Mario is a member of our FIDO prison program. FIDO dogs are obedience trained and socialized by the prison inmates. The $250 adoption fee covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, de-worming, microchip, and heart worm test (and current with monthly preventative).
