Meet Markiss, a sweet brindle pit bull mix with a heart beautiful as his coat.
Markiss was found wandering the streets alone and malnourished. He was taken to the vet and his owners were contacted, but they wanted nothing to do with him and requested that he be put down.
We knew that Markiss still had a lot of love to give and deserved to live out his golden years in comfort and safety, so we took him into our shelter family. In spite of his past and health issues, Markiss remains affectionate and sweet.
The three things Markiss loves most are:
1. Walks to the park
2. People watching
3. TREATS!
Markiss is very treat motivated and has the cutest howl when asking for one.
With regard to other dogs, he's curious, but unsure. Markiss is looking for
