Meet Marlon! Before Marlon joined our program, he was living on a property in Mexico with 30+ other dogs in a hoarding situation, owned by an elderly couple. When the dogs’ original caretaker passed away, their spouse did not know what to do with all of the dogs, so he used shopping carts to create makeshift dog crates and abandoned them. Rescuers from Los Angeles worked to get all of the dogs to safety and Marlon was the oldest one of the 30+ dogs. Marlon has been waiting patiently to find his forever home for 355 days and unfortunately continues to get overlooked, for no fault of his own. He is an easy-going 8-year-old pittie mix and is a big staff favorite. Marlon has so much love to give and is dog and people-friendly and would do best in a home with pups his size or larger. Marlon is potty and crate-trained, and he attended a training program and knows his basics. This mushy boy is a gem and so deserving of a wonderful forever home! We hope Marlon will find his family soon!
