MARMALADE and her brother arrived together at the shelter in late May 2024. They are estimated at about one year of age and both should weigh more than they did at Intake. She and her brother are listed as Great Dane mixes and both are black and white. MARMALADE is sweet and quiet, but very, very friendly and gentle. Thanks to a partnership between UT and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, MARMALADE was spayed on Thursday, August 1, 2024. As a result, she will be able to go home the same day that she is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedure and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept Credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to that appointment in case you do decide to adopt her. Even better, take a large dog crate with you to the appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially in animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
