Donate Dober Duds MARQUETTE. Marquette is a very handsome red male Doberman. He is said to be approximately 3 years old. He came to us as a stray so we don't have any background on him but I do know the following to be true. He hasn't met anyone he doesn't like-both young and old. He is pretty laid back but has his playful moments. He gets along great with my other 3 dogs. He knows his boundaries and respects them. He can play a bit rough with dogs he first meets so I would not recommend dog parks. He has not been cat tested. He is not trustworthy to be left unattended as he has a tendency to chew-paper and socks. He tolerates his crate. He has been crated for no more that 6 hours. He is currently enrolled in a basic obedience class as he knows no basic commands. We even tried in different languages-nothing. He is quick to learn and eager to please and very treat/food motivated. He is housebroken, an angel in the car and walks nice on a leash. He is quite the beggar and counter surfer and he will raid your garbage. All and all, Marquette has a wonderful temperament with just a couple of the above mentioned quirks to work out.
