Meet Mars, the four-legged adventurer with a heart as vast as the cosmos!
This beautiful boy is a 1 year old Catahoula mix who came in as a stray from Kaufman County animal control. Mars is very outgoing and goofy with human friends, and he does best around people who are able to respect his boundaries. Curious tots may be a bit overwhelming for a nervous pup. He is shy with making doggie friends, but he is learning how to play and love one doggie at a time! When he met the shelter kitty cats he was very indifferent, but as always, use caution when introducing any new critters into your home. Mars does well on the leash, keeps his kennel clean and is continuing to learn his basic manners. Mars is neutered, current on his vaccinations and microchipped. Mars is heartworm positive but all treatments will be provided by HSNT!
