Marshall came to the shelter as a stray. He had been found wandering in a busy 'area. Afraid that he may be harmed, he was brought to us. He enjoyed being free to run in the back yard. After posting on Facebook we were contacted by his owner.
We learned that Marshall (we learned his name also)was very much loved. The big problem was that everyone had commitments during the day, long hours of work and that meant that Marshall was in a crate while they were all gone. Granted it was a large crate, and he had lots of room, but still confined and alone. The family felt very bad and that this was a situation that was not fair or a happy feeling for them all. Marshall's owner came in and talked to us and sign off ownership, so Marshall could find a new home and family
Marshall is a young dog. He loves to play. His favorite toys are ropes. He like tug of war, and usually wins. He is good with cats and kids. He enjoys going for car rides. There has to be an ice cream cone combined with the car ride. Right??
If you think that Marshall might fit perfectly into your family, you may contact the Thumb Animal Shelter at 989-375-4204 or e-mail us at [email protected]
We look forward to meeting you.
