MEET MARTINI: Meet Martini, a brave and resilient one-year-old pup who is looking for her forever home. Despite her rough start in life, this little girl is ready to experience the love and care she deserves. When Martini was found, she was in terrible shape matted, stinky, covered in feces and suffering from urine burns. She was taken to an overcrowded shelter where her fear overwhelmed her. She simply shut down, refusing to move or engage with anyone. Thankfully, the compassionate staff at Furever Tails Animal Rescue stepped in to provide Martini with the safety and care she desperately needed. Now, she is slowly coming out of her shell and learning that the world can be a safe place. Martini does lack socialization and has not been trained on a leash. Loud noises can frighten her, and she is not yet housebroken. However, with patience and understanding, she is gradually discovering that the world isn't as scary as it once seemed. Despite her troubled past, Martini still adores human affection. She loves to cuddle and be petted, and her favorite pastimes include spending time with cats and other dogs her size. Due to her timid nature, Martini would do best in a home without young children or a busy, fast-paced family. Martini requires a calm home environment and a family who will provide her with plenty of love and understanding. A securely fenced yard will be necessary to keep her safe, and regular grooming every six weeks will help prevent mats from forming in her fur. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE.
