Marty is equally happy outside with his humans or cuddling on the couch. A 2-year-old Shepherd mix, he smiles when he runs and perks his ears straight up as he listens for you to arrive home. Marty is great with balls and has an amazing ability to control two medium-sized balls at once with his nose.
Marty loves affection and will lean into you to show his joy. He's a fantastic loose-leash walker and loves leading the way to new trails or parks. At a local park, he has become the “park ambassador,” helping passersby up the hill or just sharing a Marty-smiling cuddle.
He is selective with other dogs, getting along well with his kennel pals, a Pittsky and a Dogo Argentino. Marty has been in a shelter or rescue for almost 120 days, is two years old, and weighs 60 pounds. He is tall, lanky, and enjoys running.
