Mary Jo

Mary Jo originally found herself in a shelter with a chemical burn on her back and neck. The chemical burn has since healed and Mary Jo has moved up to Pa where she is awaiting a home of her own. Despite her past, Mary Jo is an EXTREMELY sweet girl who is a TOTAL love bug, can be shy at first, but it doesn't take long and she'll roll right over for belly rubs, that and playing with toys are her favorite things! This girl is so fun to watch, and has no problem entertaining herself. Give her a greenie and before eating it, she'd rather play with it for a while. Mary Jo also has some great basic skills, get the leash out for a walk, she sits right down and paitienly waits while you leash her up, no running out the door with this dog. Preparing her food, she's so excited, but put the food down and she sits and waits calmly for her command to eat. Excellent in her crate, just toss a few treats inside and she goes right in. Perfect in the car, she jumps right in and just looks out the window or curls up in the passenger seat. So willing to please, Mary Jo learns very quickly. She truly is a wonderful companion, up for any adventure with the people she loves. Mary Jo has stolen the hearts of everyone at the kennel where she is being boarded and often gets out for overnights in foster homes.
