Meet Maverick! This 90lb boy is a big gentle giant! He's a sweetheart velcro shadow pup who was a super easy introduction to his foster siblings and is settling in nicely.
Maverick is 3 years old and was found with his sister (Nevaeh) in the woods near a creek where they had been living for weeks according to neighbors who lived around that area. It was his lucky day when a veterinarian and her family decided to tube and play at the creek one day. She said they played with her and her kids, followed them three miles downstream and hung with them all day. She couldn't leave them, so after confirming they didn't have owners, she took them to her clinic and Texas Husky Rescue eventually got them. His sister is being fostered by another family and also available!
