Maverick

"That's right! Ice... man. I am dangerous." Maverick is quick the handsome dude! And a fabulous adventure buddy. Honestly, he's not dangerous at all, although his youthful wanderlust can get him into trouble. He's gotten hung up on fences and has a visible limp as a result. It doesn't slow him down, however, and the vet has suggested it's not worth pursuing a fix. Maverick is a great friend to all. He makes friends with dogs and people instantaneously and nothing seems to phase him much. He enjoys being "in a pack" and takes comfort from it. But he will also take the opportunity to bolt out the door or jump a fence to satisfy his curiosity. The world is his playground. Needless to say, he would appreciate an owner who would satisfy his craving for adventure though planned activities rather than unplanned escapes. Maverick is roughly 7 months old, neutered, and vaccinated. He was surrendered from a home that could not provide for his needs. They had neither the resources nor the secure yard that Maverick deserved. He thus wandered a neighborhood where he encountered many dangers, including people who threatened to shoot him.
