Max

Introducing Max! He is a 9-year-old, 58lb Sheepdog who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. We recently had him neutered and found out that he had testicular cancer. The vet feels that they got large margins, but we do not know for sure if the cancer has spread to other parts of his body and without extensive testing (which we do not have the resources to do) we can’t know for sure if it has spread. He is currently living in a foster home and is looking for a loving home to care for him and be his forever home for the remainder of time he has left whether that be 1 year or 5 years. Max is a handsome boy who is very sweet and gets along well with others. He is in search of a forever home that is quiet, easy-going and laid back. His ideal home would be a home with some land as we feel that he came from a farming environment and that is where he is most comfortable. He is housebroken, knows basic commands, is not destructive in any way, rarely barks, and is crate trained. His ideal forever home would be one where his adopter is home much of the time and a decent size yard for him and explore. Max is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered and recently had a full dental. His adoption fee is $200.
