My Story

Is there anything better than a hound? Meet Max, a 1-1/2 year old, 48 pound neutered male Treeing Walker mix! He is up to date with all vaccines and is microchipped. To say he’s a cuddle-bug is an understatement! He loves hugs and kisses, and gives them right back to you. As an adolescent hound, he does need exercise and activity. Likely not suitable for apartment life. He is accustomed to spending time with his foster brother outside romping in the fenced yard, playing and squirrel watching. Max is crate trained and housebroken but he does have some urinary dribbling issues so he wears a simple belly band when inside to keep things tidy. He eats his meals and sleeps quietly all night in his crate. He has the typical goofy, loving, and happy go lucky hound personality and temperament. He loves other dogs and people! Family time in the evenings are peaceful and quiet. His ideal home would be with an active and loving family who are familiar with hounds and their needs. Max is excited to think about finding his happily ever after home! Could it be with you? He is presently being fostered in the Brevard, NC area. We require a home check and vet references. Therefore you must be a reasonable driving distance from the areas we serve ( Mills River NC / Greenville SC). PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR JUNK OR SPAM FOLDER as we reply to all inquiries.
