Max was an owner surrender as his owner was unable to care for him anymore due to health issues. According to the owner, Max was born in 1996. He is housetrained using an indoor kennel, but does have some accidents. He is used to being groomed & bathed, and likes to go for car rides.
Max seems like a very sweet dog, he just needs a retirement home to spend the rest of his years. He has quickly won over my heart - he's the underdog. He is a very calm, gently guy who walks well on a leash. He LOVES to play fetch & lit up when I got out the tennis ball. He was playing like a puppy. His little nub tail will wag a million miles an hour, and sometimes his body wags, too. He went on a walk with some volunteers and loved it. He plays in the yard with a dog smaller than him, as well as a big dog and is good with them.
