Max

Max is a great dog with a sad story. He was hit by a car and would have been euthanized by his owner for a broken leg and pelvis. Instead, he was picked up by volunteers with Central Texas Lost and Found Pets who raised funds to pay his vet care. He came to Happy Tails Ranch Rescue to recuperate and has been with is almost a year. Max is such a loving boy. He's so happy to have a new lease on life and lives every day with a heart full of gratitude. Max would love a family to shower him with love and belly rubs. He's on the small side at only 30 lbs so when he wants affection, he'll actually wrap his legs around your leg to give you a big hug. Max may limp occasionally on the leg that was broken but the veterinarian has said he's healed and ready for a home. Supplements have been helping him feel good and stay active. He loves to romp around in the yard with the other dogs but he mostly hangs out and chills with a bone. Max is neutered, current on vaccines, on Proheart 12 and Bravecto, and microchipped.
