Hi. My name is Max, a 14lb Chihuahua mix. My parents got a divorce and could no longer keep me. I love to go on walks and walk pretty briskly! My foster mom and dad have 3 other small dogs, I like them so long as they respect my space. I am happy to hang out with teenagers but small children are too fast & loud for me. I'm super sweet with my foster mom and dad but can't wait to find my new forever home, hopefully with a retired person or couple who like to stroll & cuddle on the couch. That's my speed! Our adoption fee covers an initial comprehensive veterinary examination, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test, (for dogs > 12 months), parasite screening with treatment if needed, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm preventative medication, (for dogs > 3 months) plus any other medication or treatment needed up until the day they are adopted.
