This is Max. He is a very sweet young adult dog about 3 years old who a lady took from a man who was told he could not keep him at the house he was renting. She thought he might work out as a livestock guardian dog due to his breed mix. However, once at her property, it turns out he is like most every other dog and likes to chase chickens and other birds. So he has not worked out as a farm dog. The lady said she's had him about 2 months and he is mostly house-broken. She said he is a gentle and kind dog who would be a wonderful pet. Max is up to date on shots, neutered, and walks great on leash, collar and harness. He weighs 83 lbs. He loves going for walks and runs. Doesn't eat much for his size. He's wonderful with people. She thinks he would be a better fit being rehomed with someone else though due to him chasing her chickens. MAX IS NOT AT OUR SHELTER. HE IS STILL LIVING IN HIS HOME.
