Meet Maximus, a handsome guy with a brave heart. He came to the ARF as a stray from animal control, so we don't know his history, but we do know he's worked hard to find his courage and is a lovely guy. He arrived here at ARF and has been growing up here. He greets new friends with a wag of his tail. Yes of course, treats win him over. He enjoys his walks and did great in basic obedience training. He is ready to share his life with a family who will appreciate his loving nature and show him the good life! We are hoping we can find his family soon as he has been here since May of 2023. He is still at the learning phase so please keep in mind training would be ideal for him. Consider him if you are looking for a running mate or guy who you want to toss a ball with. He is strong so he could knock over little kids by mistake please no young kids. Maximus may be a lot for some other dogs so it might be better if he did not have to share a family with other dogs.
