Maya’s a 3.5yo 10lb Poodle mix. She’s dog friendly. She’s house broken when kept on a schedule and will use a pee pad if needed. She’s good with a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. She pulls a lot and is a bit skittish about loud noises but loves walks. She loves toys, fetch, people and being in their lap. She’s sweet, happy and has lots of puppy energy.
Maya MUST have a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, patience to allow her to warm up, allow her on furniture and laps, maintain her fur by brushing multiple times a week, groomed on a regular basis, along with people who are on board to show leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT fit this please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone not a fit. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.
