Maybelline BAS

Maybelline was on the short list at a government-run animal control agency after her previous owner surrendered her. Through the efforts of a dedicated volunteer, she has been placed in a foster home and is now safe. With a guesstimated birthday in July 2020, Maybelline weighs about 45 lb. Maybelline rode sweetly in the car to her foster's home. She politely greeted the family's 60 lb pitbull and 3 lb yorkie. She was happy to go into her crate to relax after her hectic time at animal control. Maybelline has gotten a clean bill of health from our vet. She's enjoying her time in her foster home. She waits patiently for walks and doesn't make a mess in the house. She's had at least one litter of puppies but has recovered well from maternity and her spay surgery. ********** Whether dogs / puppies come in as strays or owner surrenders, we make our best guess as to birthdate and breed. For adult dogs, our adoption fee covers a standard canine vaccine, a rabies vaccine, and deworming if recommended by our vet. Adult dogs will also have current heartworm test. For puppies over the age of 14 weeks, our adoption fee covers the first 3 puppy vaccines. If the puppy is still in our care at 16 weeks, we will also provide the rabies vaccine. A vet reference is required only if you are adopting an intact dog over 6 months of age (or the age our attending veterinarian recommends for spay/neuter) to ensure future altering of the dog. A refundable spay/neuter deposit is required for intact dogs/puppies. Open Adoption Events for Foster Dogs are held on most Saturdays at Tractor Supply in Lenoir from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Open Adoption Events for Bunch Anderson Shelter Dogs are held every Saturday from noon-4:00 p.m. Please check our FB page for changes in Adoption Event Schedules. A scheduled Meet & Greet between Adoption Events may be possible by sending an e-mail to: [email protected]. We do not hold dogs. Fees are required in cash at Tractor Supply.
