McRoni (Mr. Bones)

Hello there, future family! My name is Mr. Bones, and I'm here to tell you why I could be the perfect addition to your family. When my foster parents found me, it had been a while since someone had taken care of me - hence my silly name. I am a friendly little guy, but I am still learning to fully trust humans. It may take me a couple of meetings to completely warm up, but just give me a little time, and we'll be fast friends. So far, I've learned that I'm good with older kids, especially if they will run around and play with me. I also get along well with cats and dogs, but my foster parents think it would be best if I was the only pup in the house. One of my favorite things in the world is going on walks. I have high energy and can easily walk an hour a day! When you are ready to go, I will practically jump through my harness for you. I absolutely love exploring the neighborhood and sniffing out all the exciting scents. I'll admit, I'm still learning some leash manners. Sometimes I get so excited that I might pull, but I promise I'm a quick learner. With a little patience and some positive reinforcement (treats, please), I'll be walking like a pro in no time. Did I mention I also adore having a backyard? There's something about the grass under my paws that just makes me want to zoom around and play. A fenced-in yard would be a dream come true for me! When I'm not out and about, I enjoy curling up in my favorite spot-currently my ottoman. I love to have a little perch to nap and watch everything going on. But don't worry, I'm crate trained, so I understand if you need to go to your human job. I've also got a handle on house training, though I might need a bit of time to adjust to my new surroundings.
