Meeko is a very sweet, good and mellow kind of dog. He enjoys running a LOT and needs to be in a home that has a highly secure backyard. He’s very smart and finds his way out of anything. He does very well with other dogs, male or female. He’s also good in social scenes and with kids of all ages. He’s very curious about infants but does nothing but try to lick them. He’s obedient, but can still use some training in listening to commands. He listens to basic commands such as sit and if you snap your fingers and point, he goes where he is told. He doesn’t really play with toys and doesn’t fetch, but enjoys a rawhide bone or pig ear.
Meeko was surrendered to NorSled by his previous family who lived on a farm, so he’s used to lots of room to run. When we adopted him we had plenty of space for him to run, but we were forced to move and into a home with a much smaller backyard and he has not been able to run like he’s been accustomed to. He will need ample room to exercise his running skills. Meeko is chipped by NorSled and is neutered. He is mostly white and gray with black running down his back and tail. He’s got deep brown eyes and a face you’ll fall in love with.
