You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there, my name is Merlin's Moment and I am a 1 year old, 8lb chihuahua. I am a very sweet little man, looking for a patient home with a doggy friend (or two!) I am still quite shy with people, though I am coming out of my shell more every day and foster mom says I am ready to find my people. I am very sweet, I would never bite you - I'm just still very unsure of what people want from me. I think I must have spent very little time around humans, and my first instinct is still to run away and hide. A secure yard and home will be very important for me in my forever home, so I can stay safe. What I *really* love are my doggy friends! Having a pack to hang out and play with is very important for me! I learn so much from my pack, and they make me feel so much more comfortable! I'm happy to hang out with dogs of any age or size, as long as they will be nice to me! I am very happy to hang out in my crate and I am almost completely potty trained (no accidents lately!) though foster mom says a belly band is still a good idea for the first few days, since getting used to a new home can be rough! I am hoping a very nice, patient and loving family will decide I'm the pup they are looking for.
