"Mick" is a 60lb. very handsome Yellow Lab mix. You would believe him to be a lab until you feel his coat as he has a very thick undercoat which keeps him warm in the wind and snow, and cool in the hot summer heat. "Mick" was a feral dog on the Wind River Reservation and he was with two other yellow labs and several little puppies hanging out at the Head Start school as they were attracted to the voices of the children. "Mick" was only caught because he was "dumpster diving" for food and couldn't get OUT.
"Mick" is now neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped. As previously stated, he was surviving on his own and had NO training what-so-ever when he came into rescue. He is smart and learned that having a roof over his head and regular meals is not such a bad way to live. He jumped our 4 ft. fence with ease, but stayed close by and has never run away.

He does not like dog beds and prefers to sleep in his recliner or sofa, or outside on his lawn furniture.
