My Story

Shy and reserved at first, my name is Midge. I'm a newcomer to AGPR and am adjusting well. All the nice volunteers are taking their time with me and showering me with love when I am ready. I used to live on three acres of unfenced land and did not know where my property began and ended. So I got in a little trouble. Everyone who meets me tells me how beautiful I am. My anatolian shepherd gives me my coloring and it shimmers in the sun when we go for walks. I'd love a calm family. No "party animals", not a lot of running around craziness. A family who will take me for walks and give me a nice dog bed for sleeping. Is that you? All Great Pyrenees require a fenced-in yard (at least four foot high). If you have questions about the breed or our adoption policies and procedures, please go to our website at www.agprescue.org. There's plenty of good information about the breed on our website - Pyrs aren't a breed for everyone! Our adoption application is online: http://agprescue.org/adoption-application/agpr-application-donations/ Please note that we are a small regional rescue organization. We will consider adopting to families within a four to five hour drive to Richmond, VA
