Miles

Miles is a short and thick Dachshund mix at 23 pounds ( a little chunky). He is heartworm negative leash trained and house trained. He is fairly quiet inside the home but will bark to alert you someone is at your door. On walks he can be vocal at times which some people don't like. He just needs a little treat reinforcement and more socialization to desensitize him to that stimulation. He is very smart and treat motivated. He loves walks and gets so excited if we head for the front door with a leash. He does fine with other dogs but mostly keeps to himself. He would need some time to develop a relationship with another dog. He loves to eat and loves to play with toys. He gets the zoomies inside sometimes and it is adorable. Outside he is thinks he is meant to guard the house from birds and is on high alert to chase them all away. He can be a bit vocal at adoption events and outside of the home but he's mostly just alert and excited. He is a very smart and capable dog just needs a little refinement.
