Miley is a 3 year old border collie mix. She weighs 20 lbs. She and another dog, Knox, were owner surrendered.
Miley is scheduled to get spayed very soon. She is up to date on preventatives.
Sadly, Miley is Heartworm positive. She has started the pre-treatment program that lasts for 30 days preparing her for the actual treatment itself.
She should have a quiet place to rest before her treatment and also during her recovery.
Miley's prior owners said she is good with " everything" - other dogs, cats and kids.
Miley is a sweet and gentle natured girl.
We are still getting to know her and will share more with you as we do.
You can visit her at the city of Waverly Animal shelter during regular business hours Monday and Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 8 AM and 1 PM after hours by appointment only.
