Meet Milford B. Coonhound! Milford B. Coonhound is a true gentleman who somehow ended up in our local shelter while he was strolling through the park one day, in the merry, merry month of may! Milford is a good natured, easy going guy who enjoys the company of other dogs, picking flowers and the wind in his ears. He's also turned out to be quite a good student as well. He's working hard to master the art of crate and house training and is putting all this energy into being a perfect gentleman! Milford was estimated by the shelter to be about 5-6 weeks old. He's still a bit underweight at 65 pounds. Milford is big, boned guy who is sure to turn some heads when he has fully filled out! If you have breen looking for the perfect mix of personality and beauty, Milford is your man! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
