My Story

Milo is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! More about Milo: Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: Yes, he has done well in his crate for up to 8 hours when home alone Leash walking: Doing well overall, but has shown some nervousness with loud noises and some male-presenting strangers. Dog social: He has done well living with other dogs, but can resource guard food from other dogs so this will need to be managed. Cat social: He lived with a dog-savvy cat in his prior foster home and did well after a slow, proper intro period. Kid friendly: He would prefer an adult-only home as he is an energetic adolescent who is still learning and can be excitable Milo likes: - Being told he is a good boy and making you happy - Kongs and puzzles, and any toy he can chew on - Running free in the yard to get his zoomies out Milo is a playful, intelligent, and curious fellow who loves to explore and learn. He can resource guard food and toys from other dogs, so this will need to be managed when around other dogs. He has shown some uncertainty on walks with loud noises and male-presenting strangers, and would benefit from continuing to work on his confidence on leash with positive reinforcement training. He may also be more comfortable walking in a slightly quieter area, and would likely do best in an adult-only home giving his excitability. He is a learning adolescent who would love a solid routine and someone excited about continuing with his basic rewards-based training to set him up for success! Milo's adoption fee is $300, and he is ready to zoom into your heart and home!
