My Story

Milo and his sister Shiloh appeared out of the woods one day, hungry, dirty and looking for help. A kind young lady fed them and called Paws and Claws Rescue for help for them. Now the pair is in foster care and thriving. No more cold, hungry nights in the woods for them! Now they are eating well (maybe a touch too well, getting a little chubby) sleeping all snug in nice crates at night and spending their days playing together with their foster siblings. Both the pups are very friendly and love people and other dogs. Shiloh is the more submissive of the two. At their visit on 03-10-2010 the vet estimated their age at 5 months and Milo weighed 34 pounds. He was brought up to date with his vaccinations that day and was neutered. Mio is now ready for his forever family to find him so he can catch a ride on PETS transport and head north to his new home. For an application to adopt Mio or his sister Shiloh, contact Shelly at [email protected] and she will forward you one. She can also put you in contact with their foster mom, Beverly, too. Milo's tax deductible adoption fee of $375 covers his vetting thus far and his future ride on PETS transport.
