Mimzy

Mimzy loves everyone. She is very affectionate even to people she has just met. At 60 pounds, she is the perfect lap dog. She loves to sit on my husband's lap, and if he moves just the right way, she likes to snuggle behind him, which eventually leads to him losing his place. She gets along well with the dogs and cats in the home including our chihuahua and another pit bull which we began fostering the same day we picked her up. This is after a careful and gradual introduction which spanned 2 weeks. She often lies beside the other foster dog, but she probably is more of a people dog than a dog dog. We do have cats in the home, but they are kept separate for the most part, so we're not sure how she would be with cats. She has one blue eye and one amber eye, which, as legend has it, means she sees heaven and earth at the same time. She is off the charts agile, and ordinary gates will be no challenge to her. She is very cooperative about going in her crate, and she is learning basic commands. We believe she hears, but that she may have issues with her hearing. She is housetrained, crate trained, sleeps through the night, and hardly ever barks. She needs some work walking on a leash.
