Minnie is a 12 year old toy fox terrier. She is very tiny at 7 lbs. Minnie's "family" dumped her at the shelter after having her for 11 years. There were 3 children in the home and another dog and the "family" told the shelter the children were playing too rough with her. This poor little girl was terrified. The shelter said she was very sweet and turned her over to a rescue volunteer. Minnie has some arthritis and her back "creaks" but she is not in any pain. She is very lively and energetic for a senior. She runs up and down steps and jumps on the couch and likes to sleep on a pillow on the bed just like a little princess. Minnie deserves to spend the rest of her life being treated like the princess she is. She has a wonderful temperament. She is getting along very well with other 3 small dogs in her foster home and likes cats and loves everyone she meets-especially children. She loves to ride in the car too. Minnie is a true lap dog-she would do best in a quieter household with someone who is retired and wants a wonderful companion.
