My Story

Miss Minnie Mouse has the markings to prove how much she loves those ears! Minnie Mouse was discovered living at an abandoned house and property while setting up a trap to catch another dog that was seen there. After setting 2 traps and a trail cam, along comes a 3rd dog. Once trapped all 3 were brought to a foster for a few days and then made their way to WARM. It is assumed that they are siblings, despite looking quite different, because they are the same age around 12-14 months. Minnie Mouse is extremely sweet, though a bit nervous with new things. She is great with other dogs, but can get a bit snippy with dominant females. We have not had her around kids or cats. We think she'd be more than happy being the only dog getting all the attention to herself as she gets a bit jealous around her brothers. She is also a jumper and fence climber and will require a 6 ft wood or vinyl fence. Minnie is heartworm positive. She will begin her treatment May 16. Once treatment starts, she will be on strict crate rest for 8 weeks. After that it'll be 4 more months of no exercise and playtime. If you are not sure about heartworm and the treatment process, we will give you the full run down if you're interested in adopting Miss Minnie. It's 6 months of inconvenience for her to ensure she lives a full and fun life.
