My Story

Meet Miracle in Little Chute, WI Meet Miracle, the 3-year-old purebred Havanese who truly lives up to her name. Rescued from a puppy mill, she's now on a quest to find her forever home. If you’re someone who loves morning affection, Miracle’s your perfect match. She starts her day with enthusiastic kisses that will melt your heart. She’s a hand-kissing pro and loves to nudge and give nose bumps to remind you she’s there, ready for some love. Miracle also has a playful streak and loves to chase and wrestle with her three foster fur siblings. But don’t worry—she knows how to relax, too. The couch is her happy place, whether she’s chilling by herself or curled up next to her foster mom. And one of her favorite activities is sitting on the back of the couch, watching the world go by. Building trust with Miracle will require patience and lots of praise. She needs an adopter who will work with her, and enjoy seeing her progress. She might have some setbacks, but with time and love, she’ll learn to trust and feel safe. Miracle’s antics will keep you entertained. Her “dinner dance” is a delightful performance that’s sure to bring a smile to your face. And when you talk to her, she tilts her head in the most endearing way, making you feel like she’s truly listening to every word. Miracle is making progress on potty training. She hasn’t yet learned to walk on a leash so a backyard would be preferable for her. She must have a home with at least one other dog. She is up-to-date on medical, has been spayed and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500. Her adoption will take place at her foster home in Little Chute, WI. If you have at least one other dog and you are interested in adopting this special girl, go to www.rescuedhavanese.org where you can read about our adoption process and fill out our application.
