Miska

Miska is a 3 year old sweetheart who is pretty much down to do anything with you! Hiking, playing or lounging around for a bit, Miska is by your side, and she will never turn down belly rubs! While she can still use work on some manners, she has come a long way in foster care as she loves to work for food. Miska needs a home that is understanding and knowledgeable about food possessiveness and has the time to work and learn with her. She has done really well in her foster home with certain strategies for dealing with her food possessiveness but mostly she needs someone who understands to give her space while she's eating and keep food out of her reach. She has done well with learning boundaries and would benefit from those boundaries continuing. She's a pretty confident girl so she would do best in a home where she is the only dog or with a very laid-back, easygoing dog. A home without kids or with older kids would be ideal for her as she does have some possessive behaviors. She loves being groomed and is house trained and kennel trained.
