MISS BUBBA

Miss Bubba is a very sweet, friendly senior lady looking for a new retirement home. She was surrendered by her owner when he had to move into an assisted living facility and could not bring her along. She just turned 11 yrs old. She enjoys having room to roam about and play with her toys, but is crate trained and will need to be crated whenever you leave her at home alone. During those times she experiences separation anxiety and will be destructive if not crated. She does not like thunderstorms either and would prefer to be in her crate then with a blanket over it. She loves,loves,loves to go for walks!!! and is good on a leash -keeping in mind she is a beagle and they MUST SNIFF EVERYTHING! She enjoys playing with her toys in the house and never misses a meal. She was spayed long ago, and is current on all her vaccinations. She is on monthly flea and heartworm preventative. She will ask to go out if needed but with a regular schedule for walks she's good. She needs canned food or broth mixed in with her dry kibble or she will not eat it. She has been fed table scraps in her prior home in addition to the kibble. She really prefers to be an only dog. She does not like to be jumped on or rough housed with - after all she is an older lady - but she likes to run and play. They had a couple cats in her previous home and she was tolerant of them, she would ignore them if they left her alone. NO young children for our girl. She does know how to use a dog door.
